Welcome to our new website. We are excited about the upcoming season! and the BIg Things To Come.
This year the North Camden Little League is excited to announce the launch the Camden Neighborhood Baseball and Softball Association (CNBSA) as a way to provide families all over the city with the life-changing experience sport can offer.
Designed to develop the athletic, social and emotional skills, players will be able to use throughout the rest of their lives. Initially, five new neighborhoods (Centerville, Cramer Hill, Fairview, Whitman Park, and the Catholic Partnership Schools) along with Whitman Park and North Camden.
When we began in the summer of 2011 as a small group of Concerned Citizens it was with the simple hope of bringing to life the North Camden Neighborhood Plans vision which called for increased organized, supervised and safe recreational activities for youth.
These young men and women represent the next generation of leaders and as such, the ability to expand their social, educational and professional horizons beyond the realities of our small city is vital to their success.
In a city often blanketed with crime, the Camden Neighborhood Baseball and Softball Association provides a positive alternative to the harsh streets. Founded in 2011 to give 100 North Camden children baseball-related activities during the months of May through August.
Our goal is simply to provide a safe place for them to have fun while becoming part of a team, gaining self-esteem, and finding positive community role models who believe in them. The dream continued to grow…….
In just eight short years over 3,200 Camden youth have been able to take part in the North Camden Little League’s pro-social community building programs.
Our success has been based on our ability to use the sport to transform underutilized public recreation spaces into healthy lifestyle hubs that promote character and community; by providing year-round sports, educational and enrichment activities to the Greater Camden Community.
So as we prepare for the 2019 Summer Season, I ask that you join over 750 players and families from across the city in joining the game as the NCLL continues to provide unforgettable experiences for children who may otherwise never play the game.
Baseball is back. Come catch the Fever!!
